Launched in 2016, gFx ("girlfriend") is a collective of women and non-binary creatives who stand for ownership and representation in the nightlife community. Based in Pittsburgh, PA, with members located throughout the east coast, we are a mix of DJs, musicians, artists, sound engineers, curators and community organizers. I am a co-founder of girlFx with members Allison Cosby, Eileen Angulo, Isabella Parajole, Julie Mallis, Sydney Lytle, Evelyn Pandos, Cy Kim, Ariel Norris.
Our events showcase local, national, and international talent including: rRoxymore, Darwin, Dr Rubinstein, Room 4 Resistance (Luz & Doc Sleep), Mhysa, Tygapaw, Jane Fitz, Dis Fig, DJ Haram, Sophia Saze, Noncompliant, DJ Heather Violet, Overland, Kiernan Laveaux, IVVY, Isabella, Liquid Asset, W00dy, Beige, DJ Femi, DJ Aesthetics, Huny, Based Grvce, Khedo, Eye Jay, DJ Firefly, Alex is Icon, and many more.

Hot Mass - after-hours focused on showcasing world-renowned talent spinning house, techno, and progressive club sounds.
“In The Weeds x Workshop” - a monthly series in partnership with Ace Hotel and Carnegie Library instrument lending collection, showcasing female & non-binary DJs accompanied by free, all-ages electronic music workshops lead by local and visiting artists.
Special events: we have curated and produced events for WTFPGH (Women for the Future of Pittsburgh) supporting women running for political office, and the Carnegie Museum of Art’s seasonal event series.
