As part of sensory3 I designed an Kiosk that acted as a crowd-sourced IRL/URL shopping cart, displaying shoppers' remixed purchases made from stores and other neighboring kiosks. This intervention collapsed the functions of the standard mall photo-booth and impulse-buying experience encouraged by kiosks as well as online shopping. The format of the kiosk created a closed loop for the buyer to also act as the producer, merchandiser, and seller. Product compositions were immediately available via Sensory3's website, which could be browsed in real time. As the product shots were uploaded, many shoppers then purchased the image of their own remixed items.
